Jim Blurton Alu Race Bar Shoe

The Aluminium Race Bar horseshoe is available as part of the Jim Blurton remedial horseshoe range.

It is a functional, high-quality horseshoe used by farriers and horse owners across the globe. The Race Bar Shoe features a sweeping radius in the toe & a radius bar that mimics the bulbs of the heels.

This makes it ideal for thoroughbred horses with weak heels, coffin joint pain, and a broken H.P.A.

The aluminum race bar horseshoe supports, whilst still allowing horses to do fast work as the bar follows the shape of the heels.

The shoe incorporates a roll toe and is safed off at the heel. The Jim Blurton horseshoe designs uniquely incorporate pitched nail holes, providing a different angle for each nail. This makes it easier to nail on and improves the fitting experience.

The shoe is available in sizes 3–9. These sizes are the same as standard race plates and are toe clipped as standard.
